I’m currently serving as the pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ardmore, PA, a great congregation which celebrated its 250th year of ministry in 2015! I graduated from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia in May of 2014, and am very excited to be able to have my first call with such a lively and service-oriented congregation.
I attended the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg, VA, where I earned a B.A. in Religious Studies, with a focus on Christian history. My major can most likely be traced to my love of all things historical and an active involvement in church and faith when I was growing up. I still love to study history, and learn more about how our past is shaping our present and future. Teaching and preaching are some of my favorite parts of ministry, because they give me an opportunity to learn and grow as well!
I live in Ardmore, PA, with my wonderful husband Tim Ness. Tim and I met at seminary, and he is also a Lutheran pastor, serving at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Clifton Heights, PA. Tim and I enjoy going to Phillies games together, and trying our hands at new recipes in the kitchen.
